Refuge Fellowship was initially a church plant in Wildwood, FL that was sent from its home church, Trailside Church.
Now located in Pickens, SC, Refuge aims to continue a legacy of worship and service to God through bringing the Orthodox Christian faith to the Pickens community.
As we are continuing to prepare for what the Lord’s next steps are, please join us in praying for a community space to meet.

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship
Giving your life to Christ is the best decision you could ever make. Inevitably though, the question arises for Christians both new and old: what now? What does it mean to be a Disciple of Christ? Follow us as we follow Christ and learn to do life in the New Family of Jesus. Emotionally Healthy Discipleship by Peter and Geri Scazzero has been at the core of Marcus’s ministries since 2019 and has impacted thousands across the globe, including over 100 people during his time at his home church. You’re invited to attend the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, Emotionally Healthy Relationships, or Emotionally Healthy Woman courses coming soon. Come experience community and deep life transformation together!
Authentic, Relational Community
At Refuge Fellowship, we aim to be a community of emotionally and spiritually mature people experiencing life together in true, authentic relationship. This takes many forms - joining together for meals, evenings out (or in) together, men and women’s table groups, family groups, and more intensive growth groups. The key? Learning vulnerability, growing trust, and loving your neighbor. Let’s do life together.
Community Outreach
Together on Mission, the Church is unstoppable. Refuge Fellowship aims to be an integral part of the community through local outreach and missions. We are looking for Ministry Partners to start making an impact - other churches, local 501.c3 organizations, local businesses of all kinds, and people with a heart for their community.
